Buying
a property in Spain
When you visit Spain to begin your search our partners
there are able to show you extensive ranges of property;
new and resale homes are widely available as well as key
in hand (property which is brand new but available now)
To reserve a property (make an option to buy within 4-8
weeks) you will be normally be required to make a deposit
of €3000 or £2000 which can be made by Bank
draft, credit card or cash. This deposit is non-refundable
unless the vendor decides not to sell.
To help ensure your decision to buy is a correct one,
our partners are able to give you background information
to the areas, sites, constructors etc. to ensure you can
make an informed decision about where and what to buy.
They will also give advice and support throughout the
entire buying process. This will include opening bank
accounts, applying for Spanish Mortgages, how to transfer
monies to Spain and offering a selection of solicitors
to use for the transaction and Spanish Will. This list
is not exhaustive and neither will be their efforts to
ensure that everything progresses as smoothly as possible.
